2.9 - Other Shaykhs He Met in Andalusia

Here we will mention briefly some shaykhs Ibn al-Arabi mentioned in the “the Holy Spirit: Ruh al-Quds” and “the Luxury Pearl: al-Durrah al-Fakhirah”, and they are many that we can not comment on all of them in this book, especially that we do not have enough biographical details on them. Nevertheless, in addition to the main shaykhs mentioned above, we want to shed some light on the various aspects of the life of Shaykh Muhyiddin through his own comments on these shaykhs whom he benefited from.

More details about these shaykhs may be found in the Sufis of Andalusia, translated by R. Austin from the above two treatises of Ibn al-Arabi.
