2.4.4.5 - His Worry on Ibn al-Arabi

Shaykh Abu Imran was very much worries about Ibn al-Arabi because as mentioned above his opening preceded the contemplation, and he was a young man who did not practice religious commitments, while all the temptations of life was right in front of him, especially that he belonged to a rich and prosperous family:

His vigor was always devoted that Allah may save me and protect me from temptation and retrogression, thus Allah fulfilled his request and He affirmed that to him. Thus he foretold me in the presence of my companion Abdullah Bader al-Habashi, saying: I was very much afraid about you because of your age and lack of clues and the corruption in this era, especially that all this appeared to me clearly in the general people of the Way, which is what committed me to isolation due to what I saw from the corruption of their states, but thanks God now He calmed my heart with you.

As we have seen before, the justification for this fear is that Shaykh Muhyiddin achieved the opening before any contemplation, and this is a seriously critical state that does not produce a firm man except in rare situations, but the Greatest Master Muhyiddin Ibn al-Arabi was certainly one of those rarities.
