2.7.2 - Fatima Bint Ibn al-Muthanna

As we mentioned in section [ref:spiritualmother above, Fatima was his spiritual mother, while the name of his earthly mother was Nur, so when Ibn al-Arabi came with his mother to visit Fatima, she said unto her: “O Nur, this is my son, and he is your (spiritual) father!” [Futuhat: II.348].
