2.4.2.4 - Another Difficult Issue (586/1190)

Another difficult issue Shaykh al-Kumi asked to Ibn al-Arabi in the year 586 was: What happens when two sages meet in one presence of witnessing with Allah?

The Greatest Shaykh answered: Sir, this is an imaginary issue that does not occur in reality, unless the manifestation is in the presence of imagination as a vision in sleep, but in reality this may not happen because the presence does not fit for the two, otherwise one would witness others, while in fact one does not witness his own entity in that presence!

\%However, this may only be conceived in the manifestation of the example world; so if they meet then either each of them is free to combine one denomination of higher or lower or average, or collect them, the collection of one denominator is not free to be either that place which requires discernment or analogy or total. In any case, the judgment of manifestation in terms of appearance is one and in terms of what the Transfiguration finds different taste for their difference in their eyes, because this is what this is not in the natural picture, spirituality, or spatial, although this is the case [Futuhat: II.476.].

In fact, this fundamental principle alluded here by Shaykh Muhyiddin leads to his saying that the manifestation is never repeated twice for the same person, nor the same for two, and that’s due to the divine Name of God Almighty “The Wide (al-Wasii)” as well as His Name “The Creative (al-Khallaq)”, so there is no repetition in existence, at all!

This is a very important physical and philosophical principle that can serve as the basis for a universal theory that can explain many of the intractable phenomena in modern science. We have discussed this issue in detail in the Single Monad Model and Duality of Time Theory.
