6.4.1 - The Year 621 (Damascus)

It is clear that once Shaykh Muhyiddin settled in Damascus, his teaching activity began to increase significantly and the number of seekers around him began to increase, although he is still continuing his authoring of the book of the Meccan Revelations, which will be completed in its first edition after a few years, as we shall see further below.

In 621, Shaykh Muhyiddin read at least eight of his books on his students, including the book of “Certainty” [OY, I.283] which was read in his home in Damascus by Ayyoub Ibn Bader Ibn Mansur al-Maqri, who also read the book of “the Highest Goal”: al-Maq?id al-asmâ fî al-ishârât fî mâ waqa’a fî al-Qur’ân bi-lisân al-?aqîqa wa-l-sharî’a min al-kinâyât (RG 418) [OY: II.263] in the Great (Umayyad) Mosque, as well as the book of “al-Mîm wa-l-wâw wa-l-n?n” (RG 462) [OY: II.382] which was in his house where the listeners were Ibrahim bin Muhammad bin Ahmed al-Qurtubi and Ibrahim bin Amr bin Abdul-Aziz al-Qurashi, in addition to the book of “the Keys of the Unseen”: Mafâti? al-ghuy?b (RG 386) [OY: II.349] and the Book of “the Real”: Kitab al-?aqq (RG 129) [OY: I.283].
