3.5.11 - With Shaykh Yousef Ibn Yakhluf al-Kumi in Fez

We mentioned in section

ef(al-kumi of Chapter II that Shaykh Abu Yaqoub Yusuf Ibn Yahya al-Kumi was one of the first shaykhs who introduced Muhammad Ibn la-Arabi to the Way of God, and he had great virtues that will not be forgotten by Shaykh Muhyiddin. Shaykh Abu Yaqoub seems to have left Andalusia and settled in Morocco, and they seem to have been meeting in Fez. In Presenting the Righteous, Shaykh Muhyiddin states that he used to go with Shaykh Yusuf to visit the tomb of Abu al-Abbas al-Khashab [Muhadarat: II.416] who was contemporary to Shaykh Abu Madyan as stated by Shaykh Muhammad Ibn Abdul-Karim al-Tamimi in his unique historical treatise [Mustafad: II.48-50], as we shall comment about this Shaykh and his treatise in section
